'I Spy' a New Product being Revealed...and a Giveaway Bonanza on the Horizon!

~On our Facebook Fan Page, we have been playing 'I Spy' with our new product line. So far, we have revealed one item! The hints were:
1. round
2. white and yellow
3. you can 'eat' it
4. out of animal/vegetable/mineral, it classifies as animal
Congrats to Melissa V. for correctly guessing 'egg'. The first product we will be releasing in August is our new egg placemat! For guessing correctly, Melissa had won an extra entry into our Patriotic Coaster Giveaway.

Giveaway Winner and New OOAK Item In the Shop!

~A Big Thank you to a local shop, Penny Lane, for the shout out that brought Lisa to us! We love Penny Lane, and look forward to the big Summer party in the park with you guys in August!

~I am also happy to announce that I have finished my first (of hopefully many) beaded wall letters. I started with 'L', in a luscious lemony yellow! The border is leaf-green, and each of the hundreds of tiny seed beads was attached by hand.

It is a 'bead'iful day!

~I am so excited to finally be joining this blogging thing. (rolls eyes and giggles) It seems a necessary evil, and I doubt I will be very good at it, but I am certainly going to try. My name is Rae, as it states above. I own a little shop called Beadful Things in central Illinois. I have been making jewelry for most of my life, but recently I decided to apply the old French beading techniques to new ideas. I suppose this blog will chronicle the process of that, and I will share both my new shop items, and tutorials for you to make some of your own projects. I hope that you will follow along!
